Where to?

Three towns on the northern edge of the Harz mountains. From each of them you are quickly in the forest, by the water or on your way up the Brocken.

Bad Harzburg

A brine spa town on the northern edge of the Harz. The cable car starts by the spa park, and behind it the national park begins, with trails up to the Brocken.

Wernigerode

The colourful town in the Harz, with a half-timbered old town and a castle. Steam trains of the Harz narrow-gauge railways leave from the main station, all the way up the Brocken.

Vienenburg (Goslar)

A district of Goslar in the Harz foothills, where the Radau flows into the Oker. The Vienenburger See lake is right by the town, and Goslar’s old town is about 11 km away.

Nightly prices from 1 guest, including final cleaning. Tourist tax is extra: Bad Harzburg €3.00, Wernigerode €3.50, Goslar-Vienenburg €3.30 per adult and night; children pay less or nothing. How booking works

  1. Send your enquiry

    Choose dates, guests and extras and send a no-obligation enquiry. You see the price straight away.

  2. Accept the offer

    We check availability and email you an offer with all payment details. Once you accept it by email, the booking is confirmed.

  3. Register before you arrive

    Before you arrive, you enter your details online once. The towns need them for the tourist tax and the guest card. Guests who do not hold German citizenship also need a registration form: in Wernigerode it is part of the town's online registration, in Bad Harzburg and Vienenburg you upload a photo of your passport or ID card in the guest area.

  4. Code on arrival day

    At 2:55 pm on arrival day you receive your access code. From 3 pm the place is yours.

  5. Relaxed departure

    Check out by 10 am and leave the key where you found it. We take care of the final cleaning.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get into the apartment?

Contactless via a key box or code lock. We send you the code on arrival day at 2:55 pm, and you can get in from 3 pm. So arriving late in the evening is no problem.

Is bed linen included?

No, bed linen and towels are not included in the price. You can add them for €25 per person at least 24 hours before arrival, or bring your own.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, up to two dogs per apartment. We charge €10 per dog and night.

How much is the tourist tax?

Bad Harzburg €3.00, Wernigerode €3.50 and Goslar-Vienenburg €3.30 per person and night. Children pay less or nothing; the details are under “Good to know”.

Can we arrive earlier or leave later?

On request: check-in from 1 pm or check-out until noon costs €100 each. Whether it works depends on the guests before and after you.

How do I cancel?

Just send us an email. Cancellation is free up to 14 days before arrival; the rental terms explain what applies after that.

Why book directly with you?

You deal with us directly, with no platform in between. Extras such as bed linen or an early check-in are arranged right in your enquiry.
