Overview
Sonneneck is a 75 m² apartment on the first floor of Mühlental 11. One bedroom has a large double bed, the other two single beds, and there is also a children’s playroom. Up to four people can stay here.
The living room has a big corner sofa and a TV with satellite channels, and you eat at the corner bench in the kitchen, which has a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. For children there are books, DVDs and music, and board games for everyone.
From the balcony you look out over the garden. The apartment has its own entrance, and there is guest parking and space for bicycles right at the house.

The house: Mühlental 11
Mühlental 11 is home to the apartments Sonneneck, Harzeck and Grüneseck and the detached holiday house Waldeck, sleeping up to twelve guests depending on the unit. The house with Sonneneck and Harzeck has a history, as Colonel Gustav Petri, the man who saved the town of Wernigerode, once lived here.
The woods begin right behind the house, and the Christianental wildlife park and forest inn are just around the corner. Wernigerode Castle is a 10 to 15-minute walk and the old town with its restaurants about 15 minutes. A bakery and an Aldi are nearby, and from here you can hike into the Harz National Park, for example to the Steinerne Renne or up the Brocken.
Parking: Free private guest parking right at the house, no reservation needed. You can also leave bicycles at the house.
