Overview

Residenz is a 130 m² apartment on the first floor of Forckestraße 17. Both bedrooms have a large double bed and their own bathroom, and a sofa bed in the living room gives you space for up to six people.

To warm up and unwind, you have your own sauna with a 9 kW heater, a massage chair and a large bathtub. For rainy days there are board games, a PlayStation 5 and streaming on the flat-screen TV. All windows have blinds.

The kitchenette has an oven, hob, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, and you eat at the dining table between the timber beams. The house has a garden with seating, and restaurants are within walking distance.

The house: Forckestraße 17

Forckestraße 17 has four holiday apartments from the ground floor up to the second floor, ranging from 55 to 130 m² and sleeping up to four, six or eight guests. The house has a garden with a lawn, a seating set and a bench, and an old photo shows it was already a holiday home about 100 years ago.

The town centre is about two minutes away, and shops, restaurants and pubs are a short walk. Wernigerode Castle is around 20 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by car. Schierke, where several hiking trails up the Brocken begin, is about a 20-minute drive.

Parking: Free parking in the signposted public side street “Auf der Marsch” right next to the house, no reservation needed. There is also bicycle parking at the house.
